CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Tingog Partylist Representative Jude Acidre believes more names will surface in the impeachment investigation beyond the ten already disclosed by prosecutors.
He stressed that strict rules on fund usage and liquidation must be followed, and confidentiality cannot be used as an excuse to avoid accountability.
Acidre also expressed doubt after a witness revealed that it was unprecedented for the Secretary of Education to hold confidential funds.
He questioned what national security-related activities the Department of Education could possibly be undertaking, as such responsibilities fall outside its mandate.
