CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Four people were shot and wounded at a rally Monday for the NBA champion Raptors, and three people were arrested, police said.
Pinoy migrant Jorge Nicholas, Bombo Radyo International correspondent in Toronto City Canada said, an estimated 1.5 million crowd joined the grand homecoming parade.
“Nasa gitna kami narinig nalang namen ng may 4 na putok. At announcement noong emcee sa stage na stay calm lang ang mga Tao.”
Nicholas added that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Toronto Mayor John Tory, NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and other Raptors players were onstage at the time.
