Atty. Joseph R. Sereño of Sereño Law Office clarified that Vice President Sara Duterte’s ownership of 22 registered firearms is fully compliant with national firearms regulations.
Sereño explained that characterizations of the collection as an “armory” merely describe a licensed inventory within the statutory limit of 25 firearms.
He emphasized that maintaining adequate security measures is necessary to protect the Vice President against documented security threats.
