Senator Rodante Marcoleta criticized the prolonged delay in the release of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee’s report on the government’s flood control project anomalies.
He noted that seven months have passed since the initial hearing in August 2025, yet no official findings have been made public.
Marcoleta stressed that the public continues to await clear results on allegations that over ₱1 trillion was lost or misused in the projects.
He added that the minority bloc submitted its own report in December containing observations and recommendations, but this was dismissed by critics, with some saying it deserved to be “thrown in the trash.”
