Moro Consensus Group Chairman Drieza Lininding called for the immediate creation of an Independent Truth Commission to investigate the root causes and security failures surrounding the Marawi Siege 9 years ago.
Lininding asserted that key details regarding security lapses prior to the conflict remain unaddressed by national authorities and Congress.
He urged government bodies to initiate a formal inquiry to deliver closure, legal resolution, and long-term support for displaced Marawi residents.
