Norvin Gavino, interim president of the Young Free Workers, expressed hope that senators sitting as judges in the upcoming impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte will carefully weigh both the evidence and the voice of the people.

Gavino stressed that since the Senate judges are also politicians, the group expects them to remain impartial and base their decision on clear and credible evidence, especially if serious allegations are presented.

He added that recent changes in Senate leadership have raised questions about the political direction of the chamber, which could influence other investigations such as corruption cases and the flood control scandal.

The Young Free Workers also called on the public not only to follow the impeachment sessions but to actively show senators that citizens are closely watching and monitoring the process.
