CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – A joint operation of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 10 (RDEU 10) and Police Station 1, Iligan City Police Office nabbed a PRRD druglisted personality, identified as Caesar Ian M Napoles, 39 years old, married, a driver and a resident of 4th East, Rosario Heights, Tubod, Iligan City, on Friday.
The suspect was arrested during a buy-bust operations at Erlinda Ville, Del Carmen, Iligan City under PDEA Pre-Ops No. 30002-082019-0023.
Recovered from Napoles were one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be shabu, P1,000 drug buybust money with markings bearing the initials IMN, which stands for the name of the suspect, a coin purse, and his cellphone.
The operatives successfully confiscated 2.0 grams of shabu with the estimated market value of P14,000.
The Police Regional Office 10 said, the suspect is listed under President Duterte Drug List, level 1 category.
This means that the suspect is not a drug lord, but a notorious civilian drug pusher.
The joint police operation came after two months of surveillance of the engagements of the said drug personality.
On his part, Police Brig. General Rafael lauded efforts of ICPO and the RDEU.
“We should never stop operating on illegal drugs until we will make the region a drug free. Even if we will be facing obstacles in the course of our operations, lets make it as a challenge to work harder within the ambit of the law to fight against illegal drugs and support President Duterte in his war on drugs”, he said.
