Gikumpirma ni Department of Justice Spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez nga gibasura sa Quezon City Prosecutors Office ang reklamong kriminal nga gisang-at sa kapikas ni Vice President Sara Duterte nga si Mans Carpio batok sa pipila ka opisyal sa gobyerno.
Mahinumdoman nga mipasaka’g reklamo si Atty Manases batok kang House Justice Committee Chairperson Rep. Gerville Luistro, House Senior Deputy Minority Leader Leila de Lima, mga opisyal sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Anti-Money Laundering Council ug uban pa.
Sumala ni DOJ Spokesperson Martinez, ang pagkabasura sa kaso tungod sa kakulang sa hurisdiksyon o “jurisdictional grounds” kay ang maong asunto kinahanglan nga mahulog sa Office of the Ombudsman.
“The complaint filed by Atty. Mans Carpio against respondent public officers was dismissed without prejudice on jurisdictional grounds, as jurisdiction over the matter properly belongs to the Office of the Ombudsman,” matod ni Martinez.
