CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines – Elements from the Police Regional Office 10 flexed their muscles in a weeklong anti-crime operation, hauling in over 129 suspects and seiza a staggering amount kd ₱2 million worth of shabu from June 13 to 19, 2024.

In a relentless takedown of drug trafficking rings, cops conducted 50 operations that resulted in the arrest of 66 individuals.

They confiscated a whopping 297.582 grams of shabu and nearly 1 gram of marijuana, with a combined street value of ₱2,023,676.40.

PRO-10 didn’t stop there.

They conducted 13 separate operations targeting illegal gambling, arresting 19 individuals and seizing over ₱4,400 worth of gambling paraphernalia.

Authorities also served warrants on 32 wanted persons, including three listed as the region’s Most Wanted Persons.

Continuing their crackdown, PRO-10 conducted 13 focused operations to neutralize loose firearms.

They apprehended 12 individuals and confiscated, recovered, and received the surrender of a total of 13 small arms.

Police secured an additional six firearms during a massive house visitation for Oplan Katok (Bilang Boga), which aims to locate and count illegal firearms.

Pleased with the results, Police Brigadier General Ricardo Layug, Jr., the Regional Director of PRO-10, commended his officers for their outstanding work.

“We commend the men and women of PRO-10 for their unwavering dedication and relentless efforts in taking a giant bite out of crime in Northern Mindanao,” he declared.

“These significant achievements showcase our proactive approach to dismantling all criminal activities. We will continue to push the envelope and ensure that Northern Mindanao remains a safe haven for everyone,” he concluded.
