CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines- City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy is requesting an 8.8 billion peso annual budget for 2025.
In response, Uy’s spokesperson, Janboy Actub, refutes former City Mayor Oscar Moreno’s claims that the budget is excessively inflated without justification.
Actub dismisses Moreno’s allegations of bias within the council’s budget analysis, clarifying that the budget is still under review by the executive discussion committee.
The spokesperson also rejects Moreno’s insinuation that part of the requested funds will be used for the 2025 elections, labeling it as a baseless accusation
